Port Douglas and Palm Cove hold a very social place in our hearts, Corey and I got married in Port Douglas in 2011 and honeymooned in nearby Palm Cove.

We’ve since been back with our two young sons and close friends who have children of a similar age. We have made so many wonderful, fun and happy memories there and it’s such a relaxed gorgeous town that no matter how many times you visit you know you’ll be coming back again as soon as you can get the chance!
RENEE & COREY’S GO-TO ACCOMMODATION
We love to stay at Peppers in both Palm Cove and Port Douglas and highly highly recommend it. The beach inspired pools are fantastic for the kids and the pool access rooms on ground level were a great choice for families, being so close to your apartment in and out of the pool all day with young children, was a godsend for us! Oh and the swim up bar in Palm Cove was also a big hit for the adults! Ha ha!

-
A must-see being Far North Queensland is of course the Great Barrier Reef. There’s plenty of tours and cruises available with options to suit all types of family and individual needs.
- A walk along the famous 4 Mile Beach is a must, such a beautiful place in the world you’d be crazy not to visit.

RENEE & COREY’S FAVOURITE EATS
We Love Chilly’s in Port Douglas, it’s an outdoor pizzeria with live music and an amazing atmosphere, great for families and the food is just as great; they make a mean daiquiri too!
You must experience Nautilus Restaurant, fine diningin a tropical rainforest setting, it’s out of this world!
