BUT FIRST…
WHAT IS TRAVELEE?
Since finding love on Channel 10’s reality show Australian Survivor, El and Lee left Samoa with strong minds and hearts filled with passion.
With a tagline of ‘Travel Deeper’ Travelee (Trav-El+Lee) aims to help aid in the welfare and preservation of people, animals or the environment, across the globe.
El and Lee’s mission is to raise awareness of ‘travelling with purpose’ so that others may follow in their footsteps.
COMPASSION IN CAMBODIA
Just look at some of the incredible work from their recent Cambodia trip to teach English to orphans and children living in poverty to help pave their way out.

FEATURED DESTINATION
FRASER ISLAND, QUEENSLAND
Lee says…
One of our recent trips was a very memorable one where we took the family to World Heritage listed gem of Fraser Island. The whole island is surrounded by natural wonder and it’s impossible not to feel a part of it and its history when you go and visit.
WHERE TO STAY
Although Fraser Island is predominately a place where 4WDs and camping reigns we decided to stay as a family at the iconic and very family friendly Kingfisher Bay Resort.

WHAT TO DO
The resort runs day trips for families on these cool 4WD buses to the most popular places. Another very popular program that is run by the resort is called Junior Eco Rangers where kids interact with wildlife and experience activities such as night walk adventures, fishing, camp fires only to name a few which helps connects the kids to their surrounding environment.

OUT AND ABOUT ON FRASER ISLAND
Some of the tourist hot spots are a hit and miss when it comes to crowds. One minute you could have a place all to yourself and one minute later (add a couple of bus loads of tourists), there could be a crowd that pops out of nowhere which can catch you a little off guard.
LEE & EL’S HIGHLIGHTS
The iconic locations such as Maheno Shipwreck, Champagne Pools, Eli Creek and Indian Head are the best places to visit and although Lake Mckenzie is one of the most amazing aqua blue fresh water lakes on the island, Lake Birrabeen is a lot quieter and just as picturesque.
Oh and also if you have a spare $70 I also highly recommend taking a 20min joy flight around the island where you get to take off and land on the beach!

EAT AND REPEAT
For food I would recommend the Seabelle Restaurant if you want to romance which serves some amazing traditional dishes and if you are feeding the whole family The Sand Bar & Bistro is the way to go. Both are located in Kingfisher Bay Resort so you don’t have to worry about travel far to eat.
