Jade says…
Every time I’m asked where my favourite family friendly holiday destination is I always have the same answer Puglia!
WHERE TO STAY
Puglia is on the Southern Italian Coast and when you visit you must stay at the Borgo Egnazia Hotel, which is out of this world! It’s an incredible candlelit fortress made to look like it is a village, hundreds of years old, but in actual fact is new.
With a myriad of activities to keep everyone entertained, kids club etc, four swimming pools, two private beach clubs, yoga, tennis, cooking classes, farm, golf, and the list goes on! I love it because its the perfect destination for both parents and children, they even organized a lovely nanny to come each night and sit with the boys while they slept so we could go out for an adults dinner!

Puglia is gorgeous with so many options, from postcard worthy seaside towns to the amazing trulli houses, you can do as little or as much as you like! I love it because its such an authentic, less touristy part of Italy. It’s where most of the Italians take their holidays!

The kids club at Borgo Egnazia is incredible with a fabulous program each day involving cooking classes, beach activities, farm time, craft etc. Kids can go for as little or as long as they wish and all the girls working there were so warm and welcoming. The hotel grows and produces most of their own produce so the food is even more mouth-watering than you can imagine.
OUT AND ABOUT IN PUGLIA
You must visit the picturesque town of Alberobello that is full of the stunning trulli houses and when you are there eat at Trattoria Terra Madre. This beautiful restaurant grows all their own organic produce and just feed you whatever is fresh and in season, with a real reliance on their organic vegetables.

My advice would be try and stay there as long as you possibly can as I promise you wont want to leave!
